The MUBEA SYSTEMS PROFILE-FLEX is designed for milling, drilling, tapping and saw-cutting profiles and extrusions. The Profile-flex high speed cutting center uses a heavy, welded C-frame which guarantees the highest accuracy on all operations of this machine.

We use the SIEMENS 840D CNC control on the Profile_flex. The control feautures a 15" color LCD display, Pentium 500MHz processor, 128 Mb ram and 3.5" floppy drive. All servo drives for the X/Y/Z axes are Siemens AC digital servo drivers. The ballscrew motor is controlled by a Siemens vectorial invertor. A 3D graphical motion simulation of the job can be displayed before production starts.

There are several potentiometers on the control to adjust the spindle speed, fast speed G0 and working speeds G1/G2/G3. The program systems we use are DIN or ISO. There is a modem for on-line communication. We also offer an on-line software package for diagnosis. A network card comes standard on the Profile Flex.

Products: PROFILE-FLEX: 5-Axes Liquid Cooled Motor

The Profile-flex can be equiped with a 11kW or 16kW liquid cooled spindle motor (see picture on the left). We use a HSK-F63 tool clamping system. The maximum rotation speed of the 11kW motor is 20,000 RPM and 18,000 RPM for the 16kW. The A and C - axes are gear belt driven. A-axis from +90 deg till -90 deg, the C-axis from -200 deg till +200 deg (see larger view).

The Profile-Flex can store 12 tools and 2 saw cutting blades. The maximum tool length from the tip of the milling motor is 6.7", the maximum tool weight is 11lbs The maximum saw blade diameter is 15-3/4", 2 saw blades can be stored in the machine.

Products: PROFILE-FLEX: Chip Conveyor

The chips are conveyed out of the machine at the right side by a chip conveyor system. We offer a second conveyor as an option to convey the chips to a higher level and drop the chips into a container.
