The MUBEA SYSTEMS The ROTA-FLEX is a 4-axis machine equipped with a high speed spindle motor, which can mill, drill and tap tubes, profiles and extrusions in aluminium, wood, vinyl and composites.

PROFILE 3D PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE

Mubea Systems has developed 3D software “Profile 3D” allowing easy programming. It’s easy to program in the 5 planes (including ends) all of the machining requirements such as drill, mill and tap.

 


An optional feature is to read-in contours or pockets from a DXF or CAD-file and use this in the Profile 3D software.
An optional feature is the ability to perform time studies on work pieces.

 


The software has its own design package including a 3D production simulation and collision control.

 

 

CLAMPING OF THE COMPONENTS

 

Clamps rotate -95° à +95° by CNC. This way ROTA-FLEX offers machining on 3 planes.

For RF-3000 we offer 4 pneumatic clamps.
For RF-7250 we offer 8 pneumatic clamps.

Positioning of the clamps by CNC or manual.

 

TOOL MAGAZINE

 

The machine has a tool magazine for 10 tools.
Tool changes are automatic.

 

Angular tools can be stored in the magazine.

 

Tool change time:
1 à 2 : 5s
1 à 10 : 7s

 

 

MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS OF THE COMPONENT

 

The ROTA-FLEX3000 takes components up to:  

3300 x 200 x 165 mm.

 

The ROTA-FLEX7250 takes components up to:   

7550 x 200 x 165 mm.

 

Optional, for the RF-7250 machining in 2 working areas is possible. The dimensions are :

2x (3 300 x 200 x 165) mm.

 

With special clamps and machining with angular tools the profile section increases to 400 x 165 mm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

CUTTING HEAD

 

The machine is equipped with a fan-cooled motor. The motor produces 5 kW (S1), 6 kW (S6) and takes ISO30 tool holders.

 

Spindle motor can not rotate. Machining on 3 planes possible via CNC rotation of the clamps.

 

The ends can be worked with angular tools.

The standard speed of the spindle is                24,000 rpm.

 

We use the latest SIEMENS 810D - PCU 50 with Celeron 1.2 GHz processor, 256 MB Ram with 15" TFT colour screen. Standard USB connection for manually loading of MPF files.


The Profile 3D software is available on the Siemens control with 3D simulation.


An OEM screen informs the operator how to load the component.


We also offer a Siemens SINUMERIC service contract with a validation of 1 up to 5 years.
